Who am I?
I am a junior computer science student at Carleton College with a minor in math and concentration in economics. This summer, I will be returning @Oracle as a software engineering intern. Last summer, I developed an end-to-end automated system to detect PSU faults in OCI data centers with the Pulse team and initiate downstream triage and live repair. This was one of OCI's first live repair services. I am also a student athlete and have been the starting Tight End on the football team at Carleton College since my freshman year. Originally born in China, I moved to the United States when I was 4 and now reside in the Greater Philadelphia area.

Hobbies and Activities
I started playing football in 2017 during my freshman year of high school. I was not a very good player my first two years of playing. I worked extremely hard to change my body and imrpove my football skills to become a starter my junior year and a captain my senior season. In addition, I
have been the starting Tight End for Carleton College since game 5 of my True Freshman campaign. I achieved my dream of playing college football!
Sophomore Season Highlights
Training has transformed my health both physcially and mentally. My physique has significantly improved due to my training. Furthermore, working out has tremendous mental health benefits.
I enjoy putting together youtube videos in my free time. I create many different styles of edits. In the past, I have made compilations of sports highlights and created my own podcast on youtube. Despite no longer running he channel actively, I still enjoy putting together my end of season football highlights every year. I have combined three of my passions: football, editing, and video games into this edit!
Clubs and Volunteering
I have been a member of Carleton Men's Rugby Club since spring of 2022. I am the forwards captain, VP, and treasurer of the club. My roles include managing finances, scheduling games, helping coordinate practices, and coaching and introducing newer players to the game of rugby!

Enrolled in Linear Algebra at WCSU summer after senior year of high school and completed computational biology research that was published in the May 2019 edition of the FASEB Journal with Professor Xiaodi Wang

Degrees of expertise
Computational biology research modeling the integrin adhesion code using bipartite graph models in R for simple cell type
prediction and modeling the entire adhesome to help develop adhesome based medicine. I presented my findings at the annual Experiment Biology ASBMB conference
held virtually in April 2021. My research was also published in the May 2021 edition of the FASEB journal.

Two Day program held in Houston, TX in Feb 2023. Opportunity for me to network with Investment Bankers at Piper Sandler. I will learn about the interview process for a summer 2024 analyst internship and from outside consultants in tech and financial services world.
I am a part of the Carleton College CS department course staff. I work with over 50 computer science students weekly to enhance their understanding of core concepts and materials. I am also responsible for delivering debugging feedback and grades to between 30-60 students for 1-3 weekly programming projects.
I'm not 100% sure what the future has to hold but I am extremely excited to finish my undergraduate degree and continue my career in tech and/or finance. I look forward to using technology to impact the world in a significant manner!

I made a podcast during high school that interviewed current and former Fairield County Athletes. We discussed everything related to sports and focused on their stories, provided advice to younger athletes, talked about college recruiting, and chopped it up about professional sports topics.
